My family has been settled in Ranchi for the last 250 years. My late grandfather, was a Public Prosecutor and had received the title of 'Rai Saheb'. My late father was District and Sessions Judge in various parts of Bihar and present Jharkhand. We are four brothers, my elder brother has retired as a Joint Director in the Central Govt. My second brother is a renowned general physician in Ranchi and my third brother, an engineer from IIT Kgp was the VP at Reliance Power in Mumbai, currently settled in Kolkata. I have five sisters, three of whom are doctors. Most of my nephews and neice are doctors and are settled in various parts of India and abroad. I am an Addl. Public Prosecutor and my wife is a home maker. We have joint house and also an individual house in one of the most plush locations in Ranchi. Antra is our only daughter being born and brought up in Ranchi. She has done her schooling from Loreto Convent, Ranchi and has graduated from one of the most prestigious law universities, National Law University, Ranchi. She has done her internships in various public sector organisations, law firms and in the Supreme Court as well. She has practiced for three years as a successful advocate in the High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi. She has been working in premier policy consulting firms as a strategist and has travelled across India for various projects. At present, she is working in a premier management consulting firm based in New Delhi as a senior consultant. She is a very ambitious person career-wise and wishes to complete her MBA soon as well. She enjoys her free time in cooking and in yoga. She has high cultural values mixed with a modern outlook towards life. She has a good academic record and was involved in debating and dancing.
